Tu Piel vs. el Cubrebocas

Nowadays, the mask has become a fundamental part of our daily life, since due to the pandemic we have to take care of ourselves and others, covering our nose and mouth with it.

There are a lot of different styles, materials, colors, etc. But in the end, whichever one we select, because of the constant use, can cause some lesions on our skin, such as rashes, pimples, red marks, acne, this by the friction that can cause friction with the skin and the sweat caused by the coverage of the area.

For this reason, it is of utmost importance that we dedicate due time to take good care of our skin, specifically in this area.

  • SkinCare. Having a SkinCare routine helps your skin, maintaining a continuous cleansing, exfoliation and moisturizing, helps the regeneration of our skin and to avoid skin pimples.
  • Avoid excessive make-up. If you are going to keep wearing masks for a prolonged period of time, make sure you are not wearing too much make-up, as this will worsen the situation due to the use of masks, sweat and clogged pores.
  • Cleanliness in our mask. It is important to always keep our mask clean, since it maintains direct contact with our skin. If it is washable, it should be washed every time it is used, and if it is disposable, throw it away and use a new one.

It is important to always remember that pimples are normal, as long as they disappear quickly. If they do not disappear or the situation worsens, we recommend that you consult a professional.

Remember that it is of utmost importance to use mouth covers to take care of and maintain our health and that of others.
